Weight Loss Secrets From An Exclusive Swiss Clinic

A wealthy "curmudgeon" named Jon Brooks (pseudonym) heard from an old acquaintance he had last seen at a social function, and saw from a photo she sent that she had gone down several dress sizes. He asked what the secret of her extreme weight loss was, and she explained that she had flown to Switzerland for treatment at a famous clinic used by movie stars and the otherwise rich and famous. This eventually led Jon to find the chemist who created the formula, and an "under-the-table" payment for the information, as well as the whole equally secret diet and regimen used successfully at the clinic...for a VERY high price.

Last week I received a picture from Mary Ann, a subscriber. I remember her well. At the 1994 Red Cross Ball, in Palm Beach, she was at our table. At that time she was a size 26!

At the same ball, in 1999 we met again. I didn't recognize her. She had visited a clinic in Switzerland. One month, and $40,000.00 later, she was a size 18. Today Mary Ann is a size 14 and still losing slowly. I asked her what was in this formula. She replied, "There is no label." She takes 3-6 daily with plain water. A month's supply costs her $95.00.

With some serious "Sherlocking" I managed to contact the scientist, in Switzerland, who invented it. He refused to disclose anything . . . until I casually mentioned, in my poor German, 25,000 marks, in a brown paper sack. My wife, Raiza, calls it, "Dinero debajo la mesa." (money under the table) After much "hemming and hawing" it seems we may have a deal.

I demanded a sample prior to any consideration changing hands. He is sending some to me, in an unmarked bottle. I will send it to our research facility in The Dominican Republic to use in a mouse study. In 30 days we will know if it works on mice.

There will be two groups of mice. Both will receive a high fat/high cholesterol diet. One group will receive a weight adjusted 2,000 mg. of the formula daily.

We also did this study with the highly promoted chitosan (The Fat Grabber) and wound up with two cages of identically fat mice in 30 days. It failed miserably . . . well . . . not from the viewpoint of the local feral cats.
Update 12-2001
The mouse study was flawed so we did it again. It showed promise. A physician friend agreed to give the formula to 20 of his obese patients. Nothing was said about weight loss. He simply asked them to try this supplement. 18 showed weight loss within 30 days. More importantly, they lost inches as fat turned to muscle.

September 1, 2002, we began the study.
October 20, 2002, over 1,600 are participating. The results are very encouraging.

At the Swiss clinic one has five meals daily. For most of you, this is impractical. This study will be based on three meals daily.

After over 1,800 reports from participants it seems one can achieve success with only The Formula and apple cider vinegar & honey. The best results are from those doing the entire regimen.

One should take a multivitamin three times daily. My favorite (Jon Brook's) is Sam's Formula for about $7.00 for 90 capsules.

The rules

This is VERY important. You MUST drink an 8 ounce glass of water when The Formula is taken.
Pure spring water is best but tap water will be OK.
If you are no more than 30 pounds overweight, take 1-2 capsule an hour prior to eating.
Others take 2-4 capsules one hour before a meal.

At the same time you take the formula, take one tablespoon each of apple cider vinegar and honey. The Swiss clinic mixes them in hot tea. You may do it as you choose. Reports from members suggest that the ACV/honey is better taken very, very cold.

Restrictions to what you eat:

Avoid carbohydrates or at least eat very modest portions. . . bread, pasta, pastries, potatoes, squash, pumpkins, cereals, beans, barley, corn, carrots, peas, strawberries, melons, oranges, and dates, tofu, soybeans

Avoid aspartame, Sweet & Low, etc. if possible.

What you can eat

Poultry (white meat)
Fish
Crab, lobster, shrimp, oysters, clams
Pork, including even bacon!
Eggs
Raw seeds and nuts, except peanuts.
Clear juices....apple, grape, cranberry, grapefruit (strained) or 1 glass of wine
Salads: Green veggies only, as long as one avoids the restricted list. Use the dressing of your choice.
Dairy products, in modest amounts, are OK as long as they contain little or no refined sugar.
Cooking: One may use olive oil or REAL Butter. NO deep fried foods unless you want to be "Supersized" more.
Very MODEST portions of brown rice are acceptable once daily.

Enjoy a beef or pork steak (beef preferable) at least one meal daily. Feel free to use the seasoning of your choice. You local market has Chef Paul Prudhommes line. His "Meat Magic" and "Blackened Redfish Magic" are very tasty. Use your imagination.

It is best if you can buy meat from range fed animals, but NOT mandatory. (Grass-fed beef has high levels of the all-important CLA that aids in burning fat, grain-fattened cattle contain very little.)

How you eat is VITAL!

In the Swiss clinic, ALL meals are in a quiet setting. One is limited to one cup of coffee, tea or plain water during the meal.
Absolutely no TV or Radio other than soft music.
Open your mouth to eat, not to talk!
Overweight and smoking are very addictive habits. What they have in common is,
MOST OF THE DESTRUCTIVE HABITS HAPPENS UNCONSCIOUSLY.
While you are munching, or smoking, most of the time you do not even consciously realize what you are doing.

As you eat, you will focus on the new life which awaits you.
Chew each bite at least 30 times. (Very important--some have lost weight just from chewing food until it liquefies) The next time you dine out, watch overweight people eat their meal and count the times they chew before swallowing. It will likely be 5-15 times.

Eating the Meat . . . You Don't!

One vital ingredient in The Formula is conjugated linoleic acid (CLA). It helps cells convert protein, fat and carbohydrates into energy. CLA is very expensive. Red meat is rich in natural CLA.

You can have all the steak you want (The tougher the better). Cut off the fat. The "catch" is that you enjoy the flavor but NEVER SWALLOW IT! Give the remains to your pet or put it in the trash. Further, the chewing, and chewing, and chewing tricks your "Habit" into believing it is getting what it wants. In fact, you MUST CHEW all your food at least THREE times as much as you do now. Your dog can get away with gulping down the food . . . you CAN'T! When one does not chew enough, the stomach digests a smaller amount of the food which provides energy.
The undigested food is converted to either waste or FAT!

Some ask, "Why can't I swallow the steak?". All the chewing has extracted the vital nutrients. The remains will only burden your digestive system. Some will be stored as FAT!

It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to signal, "FULL". Overweight people tend to eat much faster than thin people; which results in going far past "Full" before their brain realizes what is going on.

One may replace the steak with an additional supplement of 1,000 mg. of CLA 3X daily. The best high quality source I have found is here for under $14.00 for 90-1,000mg capsules.

The steak is the only meat you do NOT swallow.

Elimination is VERY Important

If you do not have at least two normal bowel movements daily or if your stools do not float, you need fiber. Don't pay 3X as much for Metamucil. Get the sugarless kind at any health food store. It is cheap. In addition to helping you maintain regularity, psyllium gently sandpapers the walls of your colon removing impacted matter.

NOTE: One should reduce the psyllium after a week or two to find the ideal amount, if any, to maintain regularity.

Exercise

At the Swiss clinic, one is a captive. After each meal, all go for a brisk 15 minute walk. It is suggested you do the same when possible.

You Have One Free Day Each Week

The Swiss clinic requires that one revert to their previous eating pattern on Sunday, although the day you choose doesn't matter. Eat whatever you want, as much as you want. Soon, you will realize how much better you feel on the other six days of the week.

The following are suggested but not mandatory if one is on a very tight budget:

Digestive enzymes are vital in the digestion of your food. They assist in converting food to energy. Without their help, much of the food is converted to FAT! Red meat is rich in friendly enzymes . . . until you cook it. The enzymes are destroyed at temperatures above 212 degrees. Unless you like your steaks rare, please get a bottle of enzymes. Take two prior to each meal. WallMart has 90 tablets of Multi_Enzyme for about $5.00. I recommend a mass merchant because enzymes deteriorate rapidly. If the are not used within 90-120 days they lose potency.

Up, up and A-WHEY

Whey protein, a byproduct of milk and yogurt, increases the production of lean muscle which triggers an increase in their fat burning capacity. It is sold as a powder one mixes into shakes or juices. Follow the package directions. Mix in 1-3 TableSpoon of psyllium in your shake. Take only one shake daily.

"The Formula" Ingredients


Each capsule contains:

1. 250 mg. Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) Helps cells convert protein, carbohydrates and fat into energy>
2. 150 mg. Hydroxycitric acid (HCA) Shuts down the enzyme your body needs to build and store fat.
